What We Do
SAVE CITRUS WASTE
We created this initiative in January 2021 to help with the local citrus fruit waste.
We go to local farms, pick up the fruit that would otherwise go to waste and take them to the local food bank charities who then provide the community with fresh vitamin C.
BUILDING A COMMUNITY
Meeting as a community in nature is a beautiful way to connect to each other and our natural surroundings. Spending time outside has a profound effect on our physical and mental wellbeing.
We help people connect back to the ancient wisdom of the trees, their local farms, and locally grown produce
RAISING AWARENESS
Around 98% of fresh produce that you see in the shops and restaurants has been outsourced from the island.
We would like to bring awareness to the local food waste, the benefits of eating locally, and the positive impact it can have on the island, local farmers, and the people.
'ONLY 2% OF LOCALLY CONSUMED PRODUCE IS ACTUALLY GROWN ON THE ISLAND!'

How it started..
Salacia was selling a drink she created called 'Sign'
after she drove from London to Ibiza to showcase at the local food and art market 'Amorevore' in 2018.
It was here that she learnt about the issues with local food waste which was brought to her attention by the wonderful folk at Ibiza produce and Casita Verde.
Coincidently the wellness drink she had driven over from London contained orange and lemon!
Salacia couldn't understand how these beautiful fruits were spending all their energy flourishing on the trees, ready to be picked and eaten but would fall to the ground and go to waste.
She waited for the right time to come to Ibiza to help the island with this issue.
That right time just so happened to be in the middle of a pandemic when people were in desperate need of
vitamin C!
